Selçuk Jeep Safari — Dilek Peninsula + Long Beach Club lunch + sea break

Selçuk is where most independent Ephesus travelers stay — closer to the ruins than Kuşadası, quieter, and dotted with small boutique hotels. If you're spending 2-3 days here you've probably already done Ephesus and the Basilica of St. John. Our jeep safari fills the second day with a totally different angle on the region.

The convoy meeting point is in the Dilek Peninsula National Park mountains. From there the route runs through Echo Canyon, the 14th-century Kursunlu Monastery (Byzantine ruins, panoramic view, fewer than 50 visitors a day usually) and Dilek Peninsula National Park off-road trails. Lunch and the sea break are at our own Long Beach Club, our beach club on the Aegean coast. Zeus Cave is on the route too — currently closed by government order; we resume that stop the moment authorities reopen access.

The water-gun fight is our signature moment — the convoy stops roadside, drivers hand out water guns, everyone gets soaked, kids love it. We also have a short dance show at the same stop (local village tradition).

Pickup from Selçuk hotels is free. The trip works as a counterpoint to Ephesus day — antiquity in the morning, off-road, lunch and sea break in the afternoon if you split it.
