Arcadia's next Kuşadası call: what to do while the times are pending

Arcadia's next visit to Kuşadası is close. The port schedule as of early October 2026 lists her for Monday 12 October 2026, only days away, and yet the port times have not been announced yet. If you are on board for that sailing, you probably have more information in your own hands than we do.

Arcadia is a Vista-class ship from P&O Cruises, in service since 2005, with room for up to about 2,094 guests by P&O Cruises' figure. You will find her dates and any published hours on the Arcadia ship page.

Sailing on 12 October? Start here

With the call this near, your cruise documents or the daily programme on board are the quickest source for the hours. Find three times: arrival, departure and all-aboard. The all-aboard time is usually earlier than the departure, and it is the one that really limits you.

Then hold them against our rule: you have to be back at the port at least 60 minutes before the ship departs.

• For the 11:00 tour, Arcadia must be in port by 10:10 and leave at 15:15 or later. You would be back between 13:45 and 14:15.
• For the 16:00 tour, she must be in port by 15:10 and leave at 20:15 or later. You would be back between 18:45 and 19:15.

If you have the times and they pass one of those tests, send us a WhatsApp message with your date and the hours printed in your documents, and we will confirm which session works. If they pass neither, the honest answer is that a safari does not fit that day. The same goes the other way: if the times look unusual, for example an overnight stay, ask us before planning anything.

The late-November call

Her second listed visit is Saturday 21 November 2026. That date sits right at the end of our riding season, which runs from April to the end of November; from 1 December to 31 March the safaris are closed for winter. So the season itself does not rule out 21 November; the ship's hours will decide, exactly as above.

On the horse safari, swimming at Pamucak beach depends on the season, so if a swim matters to you, ask us about it when you get in touch. Everything else about the route stays the same.

A long gap, then August 2027

After November, Arcadia does not appear in the schedule again until Friday 13 August 2027. That is a summer date in the middle of the season, so once the hours appear it is a straightforward check against the same two tests. If you are booked on that sailing, there is no need to do anything yet. Look at the ship page again in the spring.

What the morning looks like on our side

We meet you at the Kervansaray meeting point (The Big Ottoman Palace), about 50 m from the cruise port exit: at 10:10 for the morning tour, 15:10 for the afternoon one. Map pin. From there it is about 15 minutes by road to the start. The ride lasts around two hours on pine-forest trails behind Pamucak beach and includes a 30-minute break on the beach.

Horse, buggy or quad

For guests who have never ridden, the horse safari is a good fit: it suits beginners, takes riders from age 8 (younger children with an experienced companion), and goes out in a small group with a riding guide, helmet included. If you would rather have an engine, the quad safari and the buggy safari need no licence. Drivers must be 16 or over, you can choose a single or double vehicle, and you ride in convoy behind a guide after a safety briefing, wearing a helmet and goggles. Children younger than about 2 cannot join the quad or buggy.

Booking

Once the times for your date are known, the cruise day planner lets you pick Arcadia and the date; it shows the session that fits and fills in the form. If you already have the times from your documents for 12 October, WhatsApp is the faster route.

If you are staying in Kuşadası overnight before or after your cruise, you can book any day from April to November and we pick you up from your hotel.
