A morning safari from Enchanted Princess in Kuşadası

Enchanted Princess is an early riser in Kuşadası. On seven of her eleven listed calls she ties up at 07:00 and sails at 16:00. That short, early day suits one of our two safari sessions very well and rules out the other completely.

The port schedule as of early October 2026 lists 11 calls for the Princess Cruises ship over the next 12 months. Nine have published times, and on all nine the 11:00 safari fits. Two have no times yet. Below is how the usual day works, which dates break the pattern, and what to watch for. For every date and the latest hours, see the Enchanted Princess calls page.

Enchanted Princess is a Royal-class ship that entered service in 2021. Princess lists her at 3,660 guests, counted on a lower-berth basis.

How a 07:00–16:00 day runs

Here is the typical day, using the hours that apply to most of her calls.

• 07:00 – Enchanted Princess arrives. You have over three hours before the meeting time, which is plenty for a slow breakfast and a stroll along the harbour front without watching the clock.
• 10:10 – meet us at the Kervansaray meeting point (The Big Ottoman Palace), about 50 m from the cruise port exit. Open the map.
• Around 15 minutes by road to the start, near Pamucak beach.
• 11:00 – about 2 hours on pine-forest trails, with a 30-minute sea break at Pamucak beach along the way.
• 13:45–14:15 – back at the port.
• 16:00 – the ship departs.

That gives you between 1 hour 45 minutes and 2 hours 15 minutes after the tour. Our rule is at least 60 minutes, so it works, but it is a tighter day than on ships that stay into the evening. The detail that matters most is the all-aboard time printed in your daily programme. It is usually earlier than 16:00, so check it against a 14:15 return before you book. Why the 16:00 session is not possible

The afternoon tour needs you at the meeting point at 15:10 and brings you back between 18:45 and 19:15. Enchanted Princess will already have sailed. For the 16:00 tour to work, a ship has to stay until at least 20:15.

The dates that look different

The 07:00–16:00 calls are Saturday 17 October and Saturday 14 November 2026, then Sunday 30 May and four Wednesdays in 2027: 16 June, 30 June, 14 July and 11 August. Three other dates need a separate look.

Friday 30 October 2026, 08:00–17:00. Everything shifts by an hour. The 11:00 tour fits and you get back with 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours 15 minutes to spare, which is a little more breathing room than usual.

Thursday 3 June 2027, 09:00–19:00. A later arrival, but still well before the 10:10 meeting time, so the 11:00 tour fits easily. The 19:00 departure may look like it opens up the afternoon session, but it does not. The 16:00 tour gets back between 18:45 and 19:15, which leaves at most 15 minutes before she sails, and we need 60.

Monday 17 May and Friday 3 September 2027. For these two, the port times have not been announced yet. Once they are published, check two things. For the 11:00 tour, she must be in port by 10:10 and leave at 15:15 or later. For the 16:00 tour, she must be in port by 15:10 and leave at 20:15 or later. Until then, please hold off booking those dates.

Picking your ride

The quad safari is the simplest choice if you want to drive yourself. No licence is needed, drivers must be 16 or older, and a double quad means two of you can share. The buggy safari works the same way, with a helmet, goggles, a safety briefing and a guide leading the convoy on both. Neither is open to children younger than about 2. If you would rather not drive at all, the horse safari suits beginners aged 8 and over, with children accompanied by an experienced companion. It goes out as a small group with a riding guide, and helmets are provided. On the horse tour, swimming at the beach depends on the season.

Booking the morning slot
