SeaDream II in Kuşadası: two Wednesdays and a safari checklist
Two dates is all SeaDream II has in Kuşadası for the coming year: Wednesday 30 June and Wednesday 15 September 2027, about eleven weeks apart. That is what the port schedule as of early October 2026 shows. One sits in the height of summer, the other in early autumn, and for both the port times have not been announced yet.
SeaDream II belongs to SeaDream Yacht Club. She entered service in 1985, sailed earlier as Sea Goddess II and then Seabourn Goddess II, and today carries 112 guests by SeaDream's own figure. Her two dates, and their hours once known, are on the SeaDream II ship page.
With only two chances to ride with us from this ship, it pays to have the details lined up before the hours appear. Here is what to note down.
Your checklist for the day
The date. Make sure your cruise documents show the same Wednesday as the schedule. If they differ, your documents are the ones to follow.
Arrival time. This decides whether a morning ride is possible. For the 11:00 tour you meet us at 10:10, so SeaDream II has to be in port by then. For the 16:00 tour she has to be in by 15:10.
Departure time. You must be back at the port at least 60 minutes before she sails. The morning tour returns between 13:45 and 14:15, so it needs a departure at 15:15 or later. The afternoon tour returns between 18:45 and 19:15, so it needs 20:15 or later.
All-aboard time. This is printed in the daily programme and is usually earlier than the departure. If it squeezes the hour after the tour returns, plan around it rather than the departure.
Who is riding. Note everyone's age, and who will drive or ride. The rules are below.
If the arrival and departure leave room for neither session, there will be no safari that Wednesday, and we will tell you so directly. If something looks unusual, such as an overnight stay or times you are not sure about, send us a WhatsApp message with what you have.
Picking a vehicle or a horse
The buggy safari and the quad safari need no driving licence. Drivers must be at least 16; you can take a single vehicle or share a double. A helmet, goggles and a safety briefing come with it, and the group rides in convoy behind a guide. Children younger than about 2 cannot join.
On the horse safari, beginners are welcome from age 8, with younger children riding with an experienced adult companion. It runs as a small group with a riding guide, and helmets are provided. Since swimming at the beach on the horse tour depends on the season, it is worth asking about if you are choosing between the June and September calls with a swim in mind.
From the port to Pamucak and back
On the day, walk out of the cruise port exit and about 50 m on to the Kervansaray meeting point (The Big Ottoman Palace). Open it in Maps. Be there at 10:10 for the morning session or 15:10 for the afternoon one. We drive about 15 minutes to the trails behind Pamucak beach, ride for about two hours through pine forest, stop for 30 minutes on the beach, and bring you back to the port.
Sending your booking
When the hours are published, the cruise day planner takes care of the matching. Choose SeaDream II and your Wednesday, and it shows which session fits and fills in the form with your checklist answers to hand. If you are staying a night in Kuşadası before or after the cruise, you can book any date in our season (April to November) instead, and we collect you from your hotel. The one exception is winter: from 1 December to 31 March there are no safaris at all, and we open again on 1 April, so both of her summer and autumn dates are clear of it.
