Safari from Seven Seas Mariner: an October Saturday in Kuşadası
The next Seven Seas Mariner call in Kuşadası is close: Saturday 17 October 2026, from 08:00 to 18:00. After that, the port schedule as of early October 2026 has only one more date for her within the coming year, Sunday 26 September 2027, and that one has an arrival time of 08:00 but no departure yet. So this post is mostly about one autumn Saturday, with a note on how to handle the second call when its hours are complete.

The Saturday, step by step
Mid-October is still well inside our riding season. We close only for the winter, from 1 December through 31 March, and open again on 1 April, which also leaves her September 2027 call untouched. With a 10-hour call, the morning session is the one that fits.
- 08:00 Seven Seas Mariner arrives. There are just over two hours before you need to meet us, so there is no rush to be first down the gangway.
- 10:10 Meet us at the Kervansaray, The Big Ottoman Palace, about 50 m from the exit of the cruise port. (Open the map.)
- About 15 minutes in the vehicle to the forest trails behind Pamucak beach.
- 11:00 The ride. Roughly 2 hours under the pines, including a 30-minute pause on Pamucak beach.
- 13:45–14:15 Back at the port.
- 18:00 The ship sails.
That leaves roughly three and three-quarter to four and a quarter hours after the ride, depending on when you are dropped off. Lunch in town and a wander around the harbour fit easily.
Why the 16:00 session is off the table
Our afternoon tour finishes too late for this ship. Guests on the 16:00 ride are back at the port between 18:45 and 19:15, and Seven Seas Mariner leaves at 18:00. We also need you back a full 60 minutes before departure, which on 17 October means 17:00. For the afternoon session to work, a ship has to stay in Kuşadası until 20:15 or later.
The same 60-minute rule applies to the morning ride, and there it is no problem: 14:15 is nearly three hours ahead of 17:00. Do read your daily programme, though. The all-aboard time printed there is usually earlier than 18:00, and that is the time to plan around.
The September 2027 call
On Sunday 26 September 2027 the schedule shows Seven Seas Mariner arriving at 08:00, but the departure time has not been announced yet. We will not guess it. Once you know it, two checks tell you everything:
- If she leaves at 15:15 or later, the 11:00 tour fits, because an 08:00 arrival already covers the 10:10 meeting.
- If she leaves at 20:15 or later, the 16:00 tour fits as well.
Either answer will appear on the ship page as soon as the departure is published.
Choosing your ride
The horse safari is a calm way to see the forest. It suits beginners, takes riders from 8 years old (younger children with an experienced adult companion), and goes out as a small group behind a riding guide, with a helmet for everyone. Swimming at the beach stop depends on the season, so in October it is worth asking. If you would rather be at the wheel, the quad safari and buggy safari need no licence. Drivers must be at least 16, and there are single and double vehicles. Helmets, goggles and a safety briefing come first, then the group follows the guide in convoy. Children younger than about 2 cannot take part.
