Safari from World Traveller: picking your hour in Kuşadası
On paper, World Traveller's Kuşadası days are long ones. The port schedule as of early October 2026 shows three calls in 2027: Tuesday 22 June and Saturday 25 September, both from 08:00 to 22:00, and Sunday 4 July, from 07:00 to 23:00. Each suits both our 11:00 and our 16:00 safari, so you get a genuine choice about where in the day the ride goes.
World Traveller is an Explorer-class ship from Atlas Ocean Voyages, in service since 2022, with room for about 196 guests by the line's own figure. Her dates and current hours are on the World Traveller ship page. None of them is near our winter closure, which keeps the safaris off the trails from 1 December to 31 March; we ride again from 1 April onwards.
How much room each session leaves
We have one timing rule: you must be back at the port at least 60 minutes before the ship sails. The table shows how much time each session leaves between the latest return and departure.

The all-aboard time in your daily programme is usually earlier than the departure time, so take a little off those figures. Even so, on all three calls the afternoon ride clears the 60-minute rule comfortably.
Morning ride, open afternoon
With the 11:00 session, leave the ship in time to reach the Kervansaray meeting point (The Big Ottoman Palace) by 10:10. It is about 50 m from the cruise port exit (map). The drive to the start takes about 15 minutes. From 11:00 you ride for about two hours under the pines behind Pamucak beach, stopping for a 30-minute sea break on the beach, and you are back at the port between 13:45 and 14:15. The rest of the day is yours.
On Sunday 4 July the ship arrives at 07:00, which gives you more than three hours before you need to meet us. On the two 08:00 days it is a little over two.
Afternoon ride, slow morning
If you would rather keep the morning free, meet us at the same spot at 15:10 for the 16:00 ride. You are back at the port between 18:45 and 19:15. On the 22:00 days that still leaves close to three hours before departure, and on 4 July close to four. There is time to get back on board, change and have dinner without watching the clock.
This version suits anyone who has something else lined up for the morning, or who simply prefers the trails later in the day. Either way the ride itself is the same: same forest, same beach stop, same length.
Vehicle or horse
The quad safari and the buggy safari need no driving licence. Drivers must be at least 16, vehicles come as singles or doubles, and everyone gets a helmet, goggles and a safety briefing before the guide leads the convoy out. Children younger than about 2 years cannot take part.
The horse safari is the calmer ride and suits beginners. It is open from age 8, or younger with an experienced adult companion, and goes out in a small group with a riding guide, helmets provided. Swimming in the sea on its beach break depends on the season, so with calls in June, July and September, ask us about your date.

On a shorter day the rule stays the same: the 16:00 ride needs her in port by 15:10 and leaving at 20:15 or later, and the 11:00 ride needs her in by 10:10 and leaving at 15:15 or later.
