About Viking Vela
Viking Vela is one of Viking's newer ocean ships, handed over by Fincantieri in Ancona at the end of 2024. She has 499 staterooms for 998 guests, and Viking says she is hydrogen-ready, built so fuel-cell technology can be added later. Her first season was spent in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, so Kuşadası fits her usual waters. If you want a few hours outside after days at sea, a quad, buggy or horse ride on the pine-forest trails near Pamucak beach, with a sea break, is an easy way to spend them.

We meet you at the Kervansaray meeting point (The Big Ottoman Palace), about 50 m from the cruise port exit — 10:10 for the 11:00 tour, 15:10 for the 16:00 tour — and drop you back at least 60 minutes before all-aboard. Google Maps

How does pickup at Kuşadası Cruise Port work?
Once you walk off your ship and out through the port exit, walk about 50 m to the Kervansaray meeting point (The Big Ottoman Palace), where our driver waits with a sign with your name: 10:10 for the 11:00 tour, 15:10 for the 16:00 tour. From there we drive straight to the tour start — about 15 minutes from the port.
Will I be back on board Viking Vela in time?
Yes. We only offer a tour on days when you are back at the port at least 60 minutes before Viking Vela departs. The table on this page shows for each call which tour fits.
What if Viking delays my port call?
If Viking arrives late or leaves early, we rebook your slot or shorten the route at no extra cost. We've handled this many times — our drivers know how to compress an itinerary while keeping the best stops.
Free cancellation policy?
Full refund up to 24 hours before your tour. Inside 24 hours we hold the slot and try to rebook for another day. No-shows are charged in full.
Cash or card on the day?
Currently only cash payment on the tour day is accepted (EUR / USD / TL — to your driver). Your booking confirmation and pickup time come on WhatsApp.
