One call only: Kuşadası safari guide for 23 cruise ships (2026–27)

The port schedule as of early October 2026 lists 23 ships that call at Kuşadası only once in the next 12 months. Below, each call gets its hours and a straight answer on whether a safari fits.
Our quad, buggy and horse safaris start at 11:00 and 16:00. The 11:00 tour needs your ship in port by 10:10 and leaving at 15:15 or later; the 16:00 tour needs her in port by 15:10 and leaving at 20:15 or later. That keeps you back at the port at least 60 minutes before departure. Check the all-aboard time in your daily programme too. We meet at Kervansaray (The Big Ottoman Palace), about 50 m from the cruise port exit, at 10:10 or 15:10 (map). The safaris are closed for winter from 1 December to 31 March and open again on 1 April; none of these calls falls in the closure. The cruise day planner matches tour to date.
Renaissance — Sunday 4 October 2026
Renaissance sails for CFC (Compagnie Française de Croisières). A Statendam-class ship that entered service in 1993, she carries about 1,100 passengers since CFC reduced her capacity. Her one listed call, 09:00 to 20:00, fell on 4 October 2026, before this guide went online, so it has already passed. For the record, that day suited the 11:00 tour, with almost six hours between the return to port and departure; 20:00 was 15 minutes too early for the 16:00 tour. No other Renaissance call appears in the next 12 months. If one is added, it will show on the Renaissance ship page.
Celebrity Eclipse — Tuesday 13 October 2026
Celebrity Cruises' Solstice-class Celebrity Eclipse, in service since 2010 with about 2,850 passengers, is due from 09:00 to 20:00. Take the 11:00 safari. You are back at the port between 13:45 and 14:15, with about five and three-quarter hours left before she sails. The afternoon ride does not work here: it returns by 19:15, only 45 minutes before a 20:00 departure, and we need 60. An arrival at 09:00 still leaves time for a coffee by the harbour before the 10:10 meeting. Celebrity Eclipse in Kuşadası has the live details.
Carnival Legend — Wednesday 14 October 2026
An early start: Carnival Legend ties up at 07:00 and leaves at 17:00. The Spirit-class ship joined Carnival Cruise Line in 2002 and carries about 2,124 passengers. Three hours pass between arrival and our 10:10 meeting, so nobody needs to rush off the ship. The 11:00 safari brings you back by 14:15 at the latest, which leaves about two hours and 45 minutes before departure. The 16:00 session is out of reach on a 17:00 sailing. See the Carnival Legend page for any change to the times.
Seabourn Quest — Thursday 15 October 2026
Seabourn Quest has the longest day in this round-up: 08:00 to 23:00. The Odyssey-class Seabourn ship entered service in 2011 and carries about 450 guests. Both sessions fit. Ride at 11:00 and the whole afternoon and evening are yours. Ride at 16:00 and you are back between 18:45 and 19:15, still close to four hours before departure. The afternoon option suits anyone who would rather see the town first and ride later. The Seabourn Quest calls page shows the current hours.
Europa — Sunday 18 October 2026
Hapag-Lloyd Cruises' Europa, in service since 1999 with about 408 guests, spends the day in Kuşadası from 08:00 to 18:00. That is a classic morning-safari day. Meet us at 10:10, ride from 11:00, and you are back at the port by 14:15 at the latest, around three and three-quarter hours before she sails. An 18:00 departure rules out the 16:00 tour, which does not return until 18:45 or later. The Europa page keeps the call details up to date.
Artania — Friday 23 October 2026
Artania keeps the same hours as Europa, 08:00 to 18:00, five days later. Phoenix Reisen operates her; she entered service in 1984 and normally carries about 1,188 passengers. For her guests the choice is simple: the 11:00 safari works, the 16:00 one does not. Ten hours in port leave room on both sides of the ride, with two hours between arrival and the meeting and roughly three and three-quarter hours between your return and departure. Details live on the Artania ship page.
Marella Voyager — Monday 26 October 2026
Marella Voyager is a Century-class ship from 1997 that sails for Marella Cruises with about 1,912 passengers. She is in port from 09:00 to 18:00. Can you fit a safari in? Yes, the morning one. The 10:10 meeting gives you a little over an hour after arrival to get ashore and walk the 50 m to Kervansaray. After the ride you are back by 14:15, which leaves about three and three-quarter hours. 18:00 is too early for the 16:00 session. More on the Marella Voyager page.
Azamara Quest — Wednesday 28 October 2026
Azamara Quest stays late, from 08:00 to 22:00. This R-class ship has been in service since 2000, sails for Azamara and carries about 686 passengers. Either session works. The 11:00 ride frees the rest of the day; the 16:00 ride lets you spend the morning in town and still be back by 19:15, about two and three-quarter hours before departure. Pick by how you like to pace a day ashore. The Azamara Quest page will show it if the times change.
Seven Seas Grandeur — Friday 30 October 2026
Regent Seven Seas Cruises' Seven Seas Grandeur, the newest ship among the October calls here (in service since 2023, about 746 guests), is in port from 09:00 to 20:00. The morning safari fits with a wide margin: about five and three-quarter hours between your return and departure. The afternoon one misses by 15 minutes. The 16:00 tour can return as late as 19:15, so it needs a departure at 20:15 or later. Plan around the 11:00 slot. Full call details are on the Seven Seas Grandeur ship page.
Island Princess — Sunday 1 November 2026
November opens with Island Princess, in port from 09:00 to 18:00. Princess Cruises' Coral-class ship entered service in 2003 and carries about 2,214 passengers at double occupancy. Join the 11:00 safari: meet at 10:10, ride the pine-forest trails with a 30-minute stop at Pamucak beach, and be back at the port by 14:15. Around three and three-quarter hours then remain before departure. There is no afternoon option on an 18:00 departure. The Island Princess page lists the call.
Volendam — Monday 2 November 2026
A day later, Holland America Line's Volendam arrives at 08:00 and leaves at 21:00. She is an R-class ship, in service since 1999, with room for about 1,837 passengers. Thirteen hours in port means both safaris fit. The 16:00 ride returns between 18:45 and 19:15, leaving about an hour and three-quarters before departure, and all-aboard will come earlier than that. For a wider margin, ride at 11:00 and you have more than six and a half hours afterwards. The Volendam ship page has the call.
Seven Seas Voyager — Monday 23 November 2026
Seven Seas Voyager is the last of these ships before the winter closure, visiting a week before our season ends at the end of November. She entered service in 2003, sails for Regent Seven Seas Cruises and carries about 706 passengers. Her hours, 08:00 to 18:00, suit the 11:00 safari. You return by 14:15 and keep about three and three-quarter hours in hand. The 16:00 session cannot work with an 18:00 departure. See the Seven Seas Voyager calls for updates.
Spirit of Adventure — Thursday 1 April 2027
After the winter closure, Saga Cruises' Spirit of Adventure is the first of these ships back. She entered service in 2021 and carries about 999 passengers. Her arrival is listed for 08:00, but the departure time has not been announced yet. An 08:00 arrival already covers both meeting times, so departure decides it: at 15:15 or later the 11:00 tour fits, and at 20:15 or later the 16:00 tour does too. Check the Spirit of Adventure page or your cruise documents once the time appears.
Aurora — Wednesday 5 May 2027
P&O Cruises' Aurora, in service since 2000 and carrying about 1,878 passengers, is on the schedule for this date. Neither her arrival nor her departure time has been announced yet, so we cannot say which safari fits. When they appear, look for two things: in port by 10:10 and away at 15:15 or later for the morning ride, or in port by 15:10 and away at 20:15 or later for the afternoon one. The Aurora ship page will show the times once they are published.
Norwegian Gem — Thursday 6 May 2027
This is the one call in the round-up with no safari. The Jewel-class Norwegian Cruise Line ship (in service since 2007, about 2,394 passengers) is due from 06:00 to 13:00. Our 11:00 tour gets back to the port between 13:45 and 14:15, after she has already sailed. For the morning ride she would need to stay until 15:15; the 16:00 session is even further out of reach. Passengers staying in Kuşadası before or after their cruise can book any day from April to November with hotel pickup. If the times change, the Norwegian Gem page will show it.
Seven Seas Splendor — Friday 14 May 2027
The Explorer-class Seven Seas Splendor, in service with Regent Seven Seas Cruises since 2020 and carrying about 750 passengers, is in Kuşadası from 07:00 to 16:00. The 11:00 safari fits, but with less room than most calls here: back by 14:15 at the latest, which leaves an hour and three-quarters before departure. That clears our 60-minute rule. All-aboard will be earlier than 16:00, though, so check it in your daily programme before booking. The Seven Seas Splendor page has the call.
Marella Explorer — Monday 17 May 2027
Marella Cruises' Marella Explorer entered service in 1996 and, like Marella Voyager above, belongs to the Century class; she carries about 1,924 passengers. Her call runs from 09:00 to 18:00, the same hours Voyager has in October, and the answer is the same too. Book the 11:00 safari, meet at Kervansaray at 10:10, and you are back at the port by 14:15 with roughly three and three-quarter hours to spare. The 16:00 tour would finish too close to the 18:00 departure. The Marella Explorer ship page keeps the details.
Queen Elizabeth — Sunday 23 May 2027
Cunard's Queen Elizabeth is on the list for this Sunday, but her port times have not been announced yet. She is a Vista-class ship, in service since 2010, carrying about 2,092 passengers counted by lower beds. Until the hours are published, there is no honest answer on which safari fits. Once they are, compare them with the two rules: the morning ride needs her in port by 10:10 and sailing no earlier than 15:15; the afternoon ride needs 15:10 and 20:15. Watch the Queen Elizabeth page for the update.
Oceania Vista — Tuesday 1 June 2027
Oceania Cruises' Allura-class Oceania Vista entered service in 2023 and carries about 1,200 guests. Her only call in the next 12 months has no published port times yet, and we will not guess them. What to look for: an arrival by 10:10 and a departure at 15:15 or later make the 11:00 safari possible; an arrival by 15:10 and a departure at 20:15 or later open up the 16:00 one. When the times appear, the Oceania Vista page will reflect them.
Britannia — Monday 14 June 2027
Britannia is the largest ship in this round-up, with about 3,647 passengers. P&O Cruises' Royal-class ship entered service in 2015. Her port times have not been announced yet, so everything comes down to the hours once they are out: in port by 10:10 and leaving at 15:15 or later for the 11:00 tour, or in port by 15:10 and leaving at 20:15 or later for the 16:00 tour. If neither works, there is no safari that day, and the ship page will say so. The Britannia ship page will carry the times.
Scenic Eclipse II — Saturday 26 June 2027
At about 228 guests, Scenic Eclipse II is the smallest ship here. She sails for Scenic and entered service in 2023. Her Kuşadası call does not have published hours yet, so whether a safari fits is still open. The test is the same as for every ship in this round-up: in port by 10:10 and a departure at 15:15 or later for the morning tour; 15:10 and 20:15 for the afternoon. If her day turns out shorter than that, we will tell you plainly that it does not work. Follow the Scenic Eclipse II page.
Carnival Sunshine — Monday 6 September 2027
Carnival Sunshine is listed from 09:00 to 18:00. The Destiny-class Carnival Cruise Line ship entered service in 1996 and carries about 3,002 passengers following her 2013 refit. Early September is well inside our season, and her hours point to the 11:00 safari. After the ride and the beach stop you are back at the port by 14:15, close to four hours before departure. The 16:00 session would end too late for an 18:00 sailing. Schedules do change, so check the Carnival Sunshine page closer to the date.
Carnival Miracle — Saturday 2 October 2027
The last call in this round-up is almost a year away. Carnival Miracle, a Spirit-class ship in Carnival Cruise Line's fleet since 2004, carries about 2,124 passengers. Her port times have not been announced. Once they are, the rule of thumb is simple: ship in by 10:10 and away at 15:15 or later for a morning ride; in by 15:10 and away at 20:15 or later for an afternoon ride. The Carnival Miracle ship page will show the hours as soon as they are listed.
If your ship is not in this list, it either calls more often or is not on the schedule for the coming year. Every ship we track has its own page with the current call list: start from all cruise ship pages, or open the cruise day planner, choose your ship and date, and it will tell you which tour fits and fill in the booking form for you.
